Drawing on reggae, hip-hop, rock, jazz and DnB influences, FoE offers up soulful laments about lost love, dirty rock ditties about the art of hustling, and dubbed out tales of escapism. With their sound suiting adjectives such as organic and rootsy, FoE are sensible enough to have some impressive tricks up their sleeve: heady jazz soliloquies, funk-inspired digressions and electronic deviations add to their eclectic credentials.
With the help of faithful disciples from as far a field as the dry lands of Igualada (Catalonia) to the cold wet streets of North West England, in the past two years FoE have grafted a reputation for delivering outstanding live sets, leaving gig promoters stumped about what to put on the bill listing.
